Subject: What should I eat?

2007-08-01 23:58:04
I guess it was "dude"?

We've established that some places deliver, so it's all good.
2007-08-01 23:58:42
We'll have no trouble here.

Surely picking up the phone takes effort?

See know I don't drink or smoke, and for it I am probably quite healthy for my weight, I don't eat chocolate, or biscuits or crappy stuff, the thing I do s that my meals are just slightly larger than average.

when I get above 16 stone, I cut down what I eat, and get back to 15 relatively quickly by eating a tad less and going swimming a tad more, it's all about balance, and my balance for me is good.

unless it is attached to his hand, with speed dial, so the minimum of effort can be put in.

I smoke and drink heavily and eat many pies. Although I've got a minor beer belly playing 5-a-side and occasionally cycling seems to keep it down to about 13 stone. At least I think it's about that

I was a lot fitter mind when I lived in London and walked everywhere. Driving does a lot to speed up the pie-boy process, I found.

Cycling is brilliant for keeping weight down, when I was a paper boy, on quite a long round my fitness improved drastically from being a tad unfit, to being able to run around for an hour non-stop, without even thinking about it.

Once your legs have the strength to easily carry the excess weight, any sort of exercise is made easier and hence the belly goes quite qucikly after that.

I've never felt the need to go on a diet, If you want to lose weight you exercise, eating leaves 7 days a week isn't enjoyabe and hence is easily given up on!

The exercise issue is my problem. 1 hour drive to work followed by 8 hours sat in front of a computer building the web, followed by another hour drive back home. Tends to leave you quite drained. And fat.
2007-08-02 09:54:31
you build the whole web??

I'm 11 1/2 stone, which is quite fat for me. I used to be a skinny little 10stone weasle that goty blown over by the wind when at University....

nasturtiums in a salad are yum! very peppery. And Robnob - make your own pizza! Quicker, healthier and cheaper. Or are you so lazy you can't even get to the kitchen (it's where the beer is)?
2007-08-02 10:11:39
my beer is in the beer fridge in the dining room.....
2007-08-02 10:25:07
That is quite posh!

Diet is as important as exercise. I'm not saying you need to eat leaves 7 days a week...just make sensible food choices 90% of the time. That'll do it.

Yeah i agree i dont eat unbelievably well but not too bad and drink a bit but exercise about 4-5 times a week and im down to about 11 stone from 13.5 in 2 years.

I lost 2.5 stone in the last 4 months.

Had to go cold turkey on booze for 2 months.

Also lots of bike riding, tennis and squash.

I was over 16 stone which just wasn't healthy for a 6 footer.
