Thing is at no point did you get a clear cut chance, nani had one from a tight angle, eagles took the ball too far at a point, and a few pot shots apart rom that, in fact, the times I thought you would score was if Kasper made a mistake, but Dunne and Micah were awesome.

Anyway my favourite thing out of all this isn't Manu losing, it is that the press now look so darn stupid.

They build Sven up with the he hasn't seen his players remark, when in fact he had, just not the few weeks before he went and bought them.

The press wanted sven to lose every match so they could mock him and moan again, but sven has turned around, stuck it up their arse, and told them to shove it(by winning), and now the press may actually start to realise that now matter how much/little passion a person shows, it is still results that count, and that maybe, just maybe, they drove a brilliant manager out of the england job.

A brilliant manager certainly, a brilliant England manager, no. England are a national side that have to play with some spark and need ordering about, Sven made the error of not treating them like petulant children and so they wouldn't play for him.

We should abolish getting paid to play for your country and only pick those that will play their socks off. I think we would do better if we did. If nothing else I wouldn't waste so much of my life trying to cheer on a hapless bunch of inefficient, clueless plank-spankers that just don't try.
