Subject: Installation Q?

Is there anyway I can Install something without using the Installation wizard?

I have got something I want to install but the wizard doesn't work, as the disc has a scratch on it, I have gotten all the files off of my PC, and I can access the files from the disc, but it wont install?

oh, quick thing, the game works on my PC, with the scratch, it just wont install.

An easy solution would be to try and copy the cd as the error correction facility is likely to cope with a few scratches.

Would I be able to do that with football manager?

Copy everything from the CD into a folder onto your PC. Desktop would do. If it all copies over ok, run the setup.exe from there. It should work ok.

if you go to a games shop they can cut & clean your cd for a couple of quid and iut will work fine. not as much fun as trying the other stuff, but it does have the advantage of definitely working
