I need computer help, also. I got a little speech bubble thingy saying I had stability issues, click here to solve. I clicked and it installed WinPerformance. WTF is WinPerformance?

My guess is it is something you don't want on your computer. Any little 'bubbles' that come up while you've been browsing tend to be trying to install spyware etc on your computer.

That's what I was concerned about.

get yourself spyware doctor. it costs abuot 30 quid but i never have any problems relating to viruses or spyware now.

Spybot Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware (which are both free) normally do the trick if you keep them updated.

I downloaded something before, but I deleted it, and I know need it again, it was a piece of free software which allowed you to record a sound from your computer, anyone got any clues what it may be, or at least if anyone has a piece of free software that does the same job?
