Woking is twinned with Rastatt in Germany, Amstelveen in the Netherlands and Le Plessis-Robinson in France.

My missus is from Amstelveen. I pissed my pants when we passed the sign saying "Welcome to Amstelveen....twinned with Woking". But in Dutch. She didn't know why I was laughing so hard. "Woking!" I could barely gasp. "Amstelveen! Twinned with! Woking!"

She wasn't amused.

Nope, not at all.

The "dizygoticism" refers to the cause of the development of twins: di = 2, zygote = fertilised cell.

Hence, twins.

The point I was trying to make is that Woking is "twinned" with three different towns, thus steadfastly falling outwith the ethos of "twins".
