My gf writes 'spam' on the shopping list that's always kept on the fridge door. It's starting to drive me a bit mad after I mindlessly started looking for it in Tescos without remembering why it was on the list.

I had a spam fritter today. It was ok.

Why was it on the list ?

Because she always writes it on there when I'm not looking.
