Thought i'd start a thread if anyone is interested.

The UT3 Demo has been out a little while, and the Crysis single player demo has just become available today!

FPS I think, mainly multiplayer aswell.

Unreal tournament games are some of the most popular multiplayer games in history.

And UT3 just looks absolutely amazing graphically :)

Everyday my opinion of you goes even further down.

why?

Unreal Tournament! How can you own a computer and not have heard of it?

It's the main reason why online games took off IMO.

The original UT multiplayer was immense (a follow up to single player Unreal which wasn't bad).

Running around with a sniper rifle getting monster kill head shots on a bot filled level - pure genius in too many ways.

This was like 7 years ago when this is what you needed to run it:

Intel Pentium 200 MHz or AMD K6 200 MHz or better processor
32 MB RAM
DirectX 7.0 or higher
PCI Local Bus Video Card with 4 MB VRAM
300 MB HDD
4x or faster CD-ROM or 4x or faster DVD-ROM Drive

And it came out on the PC at least a year before the consoles.

WADS all the way, 'nough said.

my work PC still doesn't have those stats :)

My work laptop has core 2 duo processor and 2 gig of ram..not got much in the way of graphics card but was quite impressed by that!

People still play it till this day. UT is one of the few FPS games I've actually liked. All the new fangled ones look too snazzy for my likings and there is nothing worse than stealth in FPS games.

UT3 looks great and plays great, and is fun and isn't too complex at all ;)
