I don't usually consider myself a bigot, but for Take Twat, Beast 17, Wastelife, Bugger Beyond, and that Buggerzone I make an exception.

Why I hate Take That.

1) Offensively bland.
2) Gary Barlow has less charisma than a septuagenarian Lionel Blair.
3) Robbie Williams should be in a care in the community program, not paid to ask other people to write songs for him that examine his insecurities. I know he's an ex-member, but he still annoys the crap out of me.
4) manufactured by an evil sub-genius in a basement in Manchester.
5) Made their money by pandering to the gay community and teenage girls, who I don't have anything against, but when it's done as blatantly as they did, it's fair to say I have nothing in common with that demographic, so I'm not likely to like the music. Now they target housewives and radio 2 listeners, so why should I like them now ?

Why I don't hate Take that

1) They work hard.

i think they've changed since they've got back together
2007-11-08 12:52:50
Which proves that you didn't read the last point.

Now they target housewives and radio 2 listeners, so why should I like them now ?

So does NCN. He mentioned it in his post.

He still doesn't like them.

Dog poos have changed since I was a kid, for example. They used to be white and chalky. Now they are rarer and altogether more runny. I still don't like them.

2007-11-08 12:53:51
OK.
2007-11-08 12:54:19
They're not rarer in my bloody garden. I'm going to shoot that dog when I find it. Actually, are you done with that bucket ?

It's called a disagreement.

You like them. I don't. Neither does Woppa.

No-one is ganging up on you.

yeah i know that and i know you were'nt ganging up on me i was just having a laugh
2007-11-08 12:56:34
Are you sure it is a dog?

It could be a fox.

And the white dog poo was because of crappy dog food. Funny enough I give mine (dogs) raw chicken and it (poo) is hard but still crumbly, but not white.

I am a radio 2 listening housewife who used to be a teenage take that fan. I loved them then and I love them now. I am super excitted that they got back together again. Just for me.
2007-11-08 13:00:35
i know its totally of what were talking about but how old do you have to be to do sokker
2007-11-08 13:01:06
No, it's a dog, it lives next door with the new council tenants. The house next to ours is the only council house on the street. The previous council tenants were a 75 year old lady and her 45 year daughter who has learning difficulties. A nice quiet pair, never any trouble. They moved to a bungalow, and now we're stuck with a family of door-slamming screaming inconsiderate bastards who have a dog with permanent dysentry who thinks the pebbles out the back of our garden are a litter tray and an inability to park their car in a straight line. Oh, and a lawn that looks a bit like a satellite photograph of Bosnia in the 90s after bonfire night.

Not that I'm bothered, of course. This thread is starting to make me sound a bit grumpy.

If you can use a mouse and a keyboard, you're old enough.
