Subject: Weekly Training
Conway and Workman are mids, Wilkinson was bought, so just 3 of those are defs from my junior school.
But if they're talented anyone who isn't a striker can be made into either a mid or def, whichever you want. They both need all of the skills, just the emphasis in a different direction.

keep in mind that gtf gets skewed when you have players popping without being trained. Ie if allison isn't getting dedicated training for 2 years, all those pops are "free".
Also, gtf dies once you get to a certain point in skills.
But at the end of the day, manny was a 4.25 YS talent so he's not ubertalented. He just had a PERFECT initial distribution of skills.

Allison is still getting trained each week, so no free ones. He was a 4.0 talent, but that was with an incredible youth coach. He actually had 10 pops before Sokker Manager came along, so his real GTF would be even lower.
I don't have proof, but it seems like I get more juniors with higher skill in whatever I'm training. Anyone else see this, or is it just random?
for awhile it seems that every junior came up with alot of good skill as those I am training, attack. however lately I have gotten many many many defenders....
but have gotten FEW good in midfield. so probably random
BTW, what about weeks that you train Pace or Tech ???
