Subject: Junior Coach

I have looked for a thread that talks about what I am looking for, but have been unsuccessful so far.

I am just wondering if there is a rough approximation of how the general appraisal level of the coach affects the training of juniors. Its obvious that a Magical coach will train juniors better than a Good coach, but are there approximations of how much it really is?

I.E. If I have a VERY GOOD coach, and my junior talent is about a 7, would a BRILLIANT coach bring it to a 5, or a MAGICAL possibly bring it to a 4?

you are basically correct.

no, i don't think he's correct with the numbers presented (i think he was just tossing out an example anyway, doubt he thinks it works that way), nor do i think that anyone with the POSSIBLE exception of the devs knows this or should know this.

The devs of course could find out if they wanted, but i doubt they've run enough simulations or done the reverse math in the way he wants :)

I knocked at least 1 week talent off in the process of going from outstanding to Magical youth coach

When I had the outstanding coach my most talented players were between 4.5 and 5 weeks per pop.

With a Magical coach my most talented are 3.0 to 3.5 weeks per pop (only 1 player came out at exactly 3.0: "Lucky" Vandermeer)
