I have not been nominated. Recognizing that it was only a matter of time, I was preemptively announcing that if I am nominated, I shall not accept the nomination no matter how deserved it might be.

I've been asked why I do not run, but never officially "nominated". My quick reply was that I suck and team USA would lose. Maybe we could campaign on the same ticket. Kind of like President/Vice President.

President/Vice President? I am thinking that with our respective complete lacks of skill, we should run on the Jockstrap-washer/spit bucket ticket.

I sense some sarcasm in this thread. You cannot possibly comprehend the pressure I am under not to run. I mean, the constant howls "Run, Forrest, Run" from the tv are staggering in their frequency and volume.
