in all seriousness, can i suggest/request that we use friendlies to maximize that extra 10% or whatever of training for the up and coming players? especially in weeks where there's no league match (the players got only friendly training this week, which is less than match training to start with)

And always use all substitutions in minute 60 or whatever? who cares in a friendly if you end up with no remaining subs if someone gets a red or injury, if you can get 3 extra players with their extra training bump

(i bet with a friendly and 45 mins of a NT friendly you get only SLIGHTLY less than 90 mins in nt - whereas with friendly and no NT mins you probably lose off on 5-7% possible).

i agree, and we can start with this guy:

Melvin Bodner, age 19
value: 275 500 $, wage: 2 575 $
divine form

That idea has been offered in Eesti too, but for me it just seems useless. It really doesn`t boost the training, when player plays for NT too.
I have two similar player, one plays always for NT, other don`t. Didn`t see any differences in their training.

I wanted to see if I could actually get a tactic with one stupidly wide winger to work. As I've never bothered before I knew it would be a gamble.

Not sure I will go down that road again! Now is the time to get things wrong though, much rather end up messing up when it doesn't really matter!

I used to have a tactic with 1 winger only. I used Bobby Joe Whittington as sole winger. It was pretty effective.......before i got to ML.....^_^

I was thinking it was part of your tactic, to have Scotland think that you don't know what you're doing.

You should have said, it worked great, Scotland won't be able to stop us :)

Yes, yes that's right. Can't have people thinking USA are an almighty indestructible force. After that England match, got to level things back again so people start using the under estimating tactic.

Should the points contest be extended for another week now?
2008-02-18 17:20:32
its up to you :)

how are the scores looking btw?
2008-02-19 16:07:14
No idea! I'll extend the deadline for 1 more week, Schweiz will now be the last game for the contest.
