ya, there are definitely those of us that read the forums but dont do much else like look at tactics or look at anything other than changing 1st and 2nd teams for friendlies, which i often forget to schedule.

Im actually active checking my team and such, logging in many times a week. I just havent had the time to post in the last month because im in my last semester and unfortunately dont have much time to post, but im actually active. So im sure there are other people like me who are very active but just not posting.

GET MORE PLAYERS. I am too old, and my kids are too young.

ive been really active lately.. i don't do anything so i have lots of time

what is disturbing is the drop off in new users by week. For those of you who do not have Plus (Llama) here are weeks going back to April. Notice a large number of new users in May, then drop off during summer that has continued through September.

From someone who used to play Sokker for about 4 seasons back in 2006-2007, came back about a month ago and will most probably leave again by the end of this season.

Sokker has a fantastic training system and the match live thingy in combination with the tactics editor is even better. Beats Hattrick hands down.

Problem is, that is all Sokker has to offer. Take those things out and it's nothing more than a poorly designed website that hurts average eyes and mind, with incredibly inefficient and anything but intuitive menus, and absolutely nothing to do.
In short, Sokker is directed at a very narrow group of people. Take into account that Americans, on average, don't care about soccer as much as rest of the world, and you get the attrition rate you are talking about.

If/when developers provide more ways to enjoy the time at sokker.org, and find someone with a speckle of talent to improve the website, Sokker will take off.

Yep, that made it look better. It took me a while to find where to paste the link though - Office/Media/Page Skins, really?
I know people get used to it and it looks easy, but that's so far from intuitive it's not even funny.

np... for some reason when I first replied that initial part got erased...?? but I edited it and added it again. There is only one problem with the skin though... when you get a skmail you have to scroll all the way to the bottom to read it :/

hmm that's a cool skin, though I don't like having to side scroll in my main window much...

As for what was stated above, yea the live match + tactic control makes this game much better than hattrick too imo. I played hattrick for a couple years and while I moved up to the top of Div IV, I found myself becoming increasingly bored and upset with how little control I had over a game and how much midfield dominated the game.

However here at sokker even with all that, there are definitely times where I just sit there kind of bored. I agree it could use a little spice somewhere

Something that made my initial feeling sink, after logging in for the fist time with this team: by accident or not, I was put in the same series I found myself in with my first team four years ago. One of the first things I did was to check the league forum, and what did I see - the most recent thread was the one I posted in before I promoted to B with my previous team four years ago. That is disheartening.

This doesn't add to the conversation though, as I am only reiterating the problem, but I felt like saying it anyway :)
