Subject: Importance of Match narrative

I was wondering what peoples opinions are on the importance of the match narrative. I rarely read it, and also I find that what they highlight in the narrative typically is not the correct players nor what I would have highlighted about the match from watching the video. Is this a very poor idea? Are there people who believe the importance of the highlighted material in the narrative is more essential then the video?

It never really tells you the full story - better just to watch the match.

id rather the sokker staff work on improving other things - times of goals is all i need from the narrative

I never read the narrative. I either watch the match or look at the stats, they tell a better story.

if you dont watch the match, you never get the accurate story.

match text is meaningless. so is the match report itself, because the quality of the shots themselves are not indicated. Hell it doesn't even indicate actual shots on goal, or goalie actual saves.

I think that's part of the reason that people don't value striker secondaries enough, in my opinion. I had to goals on Bogan this weekend despite having no strikers with more than very good striking. Quality of shots is an important thing.
