Going to stick with just the one topic now until the World Cup is over.
First game will be against Scotland in the Group of Death. Whilst not always the most consistent side, they narrowly qualified for the WC. They are certainly not a side to be under estimated, in their time they have beaten sides viewed to be a lot better than themselves (inc Nederland not long ago) and have a core of high quality players that will cause any side problems.
If anyone wants to insult them, their topic is here, although you must post anything like that in haiku form.

Only Bradley Ritch is unavailable (injury) and I know he won't be fully fit until the next WC game.

Italia and Eesti have drawn, which is exactly the result I was hoping for.

All down hill after the sending off. Typically that was the side their winger was playing, and as a result of that they have about 10 miles of space just to breeze passes to the striker. Up until that point it was very even.
In hindsight, Lonnie Lucas should have been packed in the midfield. I thought they were going to use a 1 striker tactic, and looked to protect the middle with the players there, but it just didn't work out.
Big ask to beat both Eesti and Italia now. Certainly back to the drawing board.

Went for side skills out wide because I thought they were going to go down the middle. Annoying when they decide otherwise!
I'm very dissapointed, I thought we had the "superior players" to beat Scotland. They looked far better than us. Perhaps it's because you thought wrong and protected the middle.
i thought the gib wouldve known how to use conditional orders, but i guess not
