I generated a player posting via Sokker Manager. I'm trying to understand what everything is talking about. What does this part of it mean?

Player Pops History
Total of 15 in 44 weeks with team River Rats: 2.9 Weeks/Pop
2008-04-09 19:44:28
he's been in your team 44 weeks.

He's popped 15 times.

44/15 is, 2.9333333

sorry...I didn't ask the question well. What is this information telling me in relation to everything else? For example, is that a good number or a bad one? In other words, what value is this information and how what can i use it for?
2008-04-09 19:55:36
ignore that, use GTF to look at training talent... Want it to be below 2 for a youngster, around 2-2.5 for a 23 year old.

One of my most talented players is my goalie, he's not trained much, so the weeks per pop is really low.
2008-04-09 20:04:38
that tells me what i wanted to know. thanks. oh...yeah...what does "GTF" stand for?

btw...wanna buy this 19 yo? His GTF is 1.25.
2008-04-09 20:05:30
Guacamole Training Factor.
2008-04-09 20:06:15
lol
2008-04-09 20:06:56
i don't think a 19 year old could sustain that. Sure, you could buy or pull and have a couple of quick pops of stuff that was close, but over 20+ weeks it'd normalize to an appropriate level.

Now that I know what this is, I was just going through sm and checking my players. I've got some guys who are very strong players for the team, but have terrible GTFs. which leaves me wondering what drives this number? what moves it up and down? percentage of play? pm?...???
2008-04-09 20:13:14
As far as I know it's entirely training-based.
2008-04-09 20:17:58
after 44 weeks on team, i think this guy is normalized. still don't want him? (lol..he is actually NOT for sale) Here are his ratings for reference:

unearthly form, very good tactical discipline

solid stamina, tragic keeper
adequate pace, average defender
good technique, very good playmaker
unsatisfactory passing, good striker

Statistics:
Official matches: 29
Goals in official matches: 6
Assists in official matches: 14

is he being trained then?

GTF is only valid for players who are trained actively.
2008-04-09 20:23:20
*rolls eyes...snorts*

with his ratings? he's a starter. of course he's being trained.
2008-04-09 20:25:32
ie he's a midfielder and you're training midfield skills?

(that's a starter for you, omg)
2008-04-09 20:30:21
he's my main AM/CM. Theo Buddle. got him for $4 on the transfer list, too...:))

pity he's out with a 20 day injury...:((
2008-04-09 20:38:17
back to the question, though...if it is training based...what controllable factors drive this number? coach rating? player pm? match training order? what can i do in team development that can influence this number?
