Your tactics are mediocre for a couple reasons. First off you only play 3 defenders which leaves the corners open for the other teams wingers to fire in crosses. A smart team will stick their best winger on the same side as Trave and direct their attacks through there. I would probably play your defensive mids a little closer to your defensive line as well.

On offense your best weapon is Jarhead, but he's not too hard to stop. All I had to do was stick a wingback in front of him to prevent him from getting into the corner. Then he had to make his pass attempts over the middle shortly after crossing midfield, and your strikers aren't good enough to dribble through the middle of a good defense. Since you didn't have your wingers playing much defense anyway, you should have had them wider and farther forward.

Perhaps you and I have different opinions of what it would mean to 'trash Sokker'. I have said that Trophy Manager has a better training and player development system. But sokker is much better when it comes to tactics, and game viewing. I even tried to get people to join Sokker for the tactics and viewer. If you consider that as trashing Sokker then I don't know what to tell you.

Indeed I am an admin over there, and do have the lifetime PRO subscription. The wife would break my neck if I payed at both places, and their PRO package offers better features than the PLUS does here.

I'm deeply involved in both, and will stay that way.

I honestly don't see how you can say TM Pro offers more, when the core of being a PRO member here is actually being able to refine your tactics and evaluate opponents. We all know TM pro is crap. I can half-ass that game for months and still stay in 2.league ;)

Back on topic though.

As a result, no offense, but you're pretty risky as a candidate considering your tactical managing chops are rusty, at best. When was the last time you reviewed an opponent for tendencies. No, unlike on TM, looking at a lineup formation doesn't count.

Not really ideal to try to reacquaint yourself with them with our national team.

That would have been nice. Tactical ability should be one of the deciding factors here so I have no problem showing I know what I'm doing. If the things I've posted in this thread don't show that by now, I don't know that anything will.

You have my vote! Impressive result in your first season in the ML this season. You are raising the bar for newly promoted teams. I beleive that with a better player pool in the NT you could potentialy reach or pass Fro's NT accomplishments (Fro remains the best NT coach we've had).

One plus for you is that you would know the exact skills of some of the USA's NT defenders, always useful.
