Subject: Cup - Season 13

Hard to say who will play who with the random shuffle factor but KY and I will be hosting. Not sure who I'd rather face next round and I think my chances of getting to the finals are slim either way but I intend to come out swinging nevertheless.

I hope I get KY with his 60K Stadium the match revenue will be bigger than the cup prize :)

I gambled on the league to save my best strikers for the cup and nearly paid the price. If I win the next round I'll have some tough choices. Dio got a crazy goal differential so I can't afford to tie a game.

I know our game will be a good one, you rested your best striker for me to make sure he doesn't pick up another yellow.

My Central Mid is out with an injury but I trained pace this week so I can field my A team.

Close, but not exactly. My best striker Olarte played div despite having 2 cards going in but I did rest my 2nd best striker for our match.

I have an injured mid too which cancels out your injured mid and ironically I am also training pace this week for the same reasons you are, small world.

If neither of us loses anything mid-game it could be a close match. I just hope we don't beat each other up too badly in terms of cards and injuries. Good luck!

you better be playing a strong lineup for the cup, shouldnt be too much of a gamble in midseason A league games to play weaker trainees there

I only won 3:1 last week and I can't afford to draw. Vovo is taking a spot in the top 4 so the qualifiers will have at least 1 team that I don't want to play against :)

My keeper came up big for me. The score doesn't do your team justice, you played well.

Thanks, I was thinking the same thing. I don't contest the result or the fact that you netted 4 goals but I thought a 4-2 or 4-3 result would have made more sense, at least 4-1, I felt robbed with a shutout. Anyway, it was a clean game so I am happy enough with that. Good luck in the finals!

Even when I was up 3:0 I was fearing a come back. My strikers have unearthly striking and my GK is divine, they won the game for me.

Unearthly striking and a divine keeper, guess we should just turn over the Cup title now. ;)

Not just yet, my strikers got a form hit with this last training. You're a specialist at stopping strikers, you won our last two games easily.

I wish I had me some unearthly strikers. I coulda been a contender.

It really wouldn't look like sarcasm if I posted the skill levels for my strikers and keeper. Nowhere near unearthly or divine.

It's your defenders I'm worried about, most of them are most likely 2 X Divine with other skills at least formidable.
