Subject: Team USA vs. Russia

We've got a trio of players with red cards, one who is slightly injured, and several with form issues. So you won't see what I would call our 'A squad', but we'll certainly be strong enough to handle Russia. Look for us to score early and often!

Not very happy with the scoreline for that match. I felt we should have scored more than 7 and given up less than 3.

The tactic was disappointing as it rendered Ventura almost useless. If anyone out there who specializes in a 343 sees something that should be changed, feel free to mail me some suggestions. We're certainly not padding our goal differential as much as I'd like with it.

The injury to Smuckers hurts as he'll be out for the Sverige match, our toughest opponent besides Nederland.

Next week we have Hong Kong, who is the weak sister in Group A. No surprises in the other matches in our Group, which will keep us in second place.

Galloway would have made it 10-0.

how bout just dont play with 3 in the back, and not pushing them up so high when the ball is near their goal

You would have been better off using a 5th mid or a 4th defender instead on Ventura.

But we won this game easily playing virtually with 1 man down and with our defense way too far up.
