how long do u guys train ur players? (age)


up until this point i dont train above 22 yo.
is it worth training players above 23?

i personally train up to 26...its worth it with top players...

how are the pops at that age?

Past 24yo the players that you train needs to be high caliber, like 3 times "unearthly".

24 yo trainee with 4.0 weeks talent took 7 weeks to go from incredible to brilliant. Another 24 yo with 4.5 weeks talent is taking 8 weeks plus some general training to go from brilliant to Magical. I hope he pops this week with general training (I switched to pace training to help with the cup).

I train most of my guys till they are 25...unless special circumstances arise. I sold a 24 yo last week cause he had just popped and I pulled a good trainee from my youth that same week. I sold the 24 yo so I could begin training the new guy.

I don't train past 23 unless the player is extra talented, and then only as old as 24.

My 23yo's still get full training. Beyond that it depends on the player and how badly they need the skill I'm training.

to me the difference between the players aged 20-24 (same player and talent) is 1-2 more weeks to pop...maybe 3 in the higher levels

I train guys through age 24. Then at age 25 I sell them when it makes the most sense (typically early on).
