Subject: Changes at Accepting Teams Process

I like your idea. Would you just increase the number of autopromotions but decrease the number of qualifying games keeping the nr of C league teams involved unchanged? (Like it is now: 64 teams would promote/have chance of promotion?) This would benefit some teams that are already in the B league but would play a qualifier (like me:).

I would make it actually more interesting and keep the same amount of qualifying games. to summarize there would be 16+#of bots autopromotions and 48 qualifying games which would mean that 64 C league winners + x number of 2nd places (=#of B league bots) would play the qualifier...

... and I hate the suggested change (has it been implemented already?)

the really dumb part of all this is that a team that was just added took over for a bot that had just been relegated from A and was doing pretty good i B... so he starts with a good record... gets a walkover from the other "newb" b team and somehow is one win away from playing for PROMOTION into A league... my supporters went down, my sponsors went down... and a newbmight play for promotion it the top teams beat up on each other... if new teams are mre likely to not stick around, aren't we increasing the chance b league will have lots of bots?

...fromo might like bots, but he started out in the B leagues, never having to climb outta C... and beards are lame...

There much more to it than it was said on the forum. No higher league manager will understand how it would be to keep playing in the group with teams replacing one another every few weeks. IMO it's like being stuck at C level.

Ivy, I might have taken lightly the tactic preparation before our match but you outplayed me big time. Do you guys think it's a coinsidence when after speaking my mind against the admins out of the sudden I don't recognize how my players behave on the pitch and they lose most of one on one battles not creating a clear scoring chance? Not complaining it's just a question.

When I was in C there was only 1 other human team.

I'm mad at this thing, since I have to claw my way out of C and some newbie starts in B with twice the money I ever had. You're mad since they are changing teams in your league mid-season. That makes any comparison of results in the league (aka the league table) meaningless, screws up your income flow, promotion chances etc.

And the solutions are so simple. Here is just a suggestion:

TO GET RID OF BOTS: Introduce a new rule in promotion games: if your opponent is a bot, you win automatically. It's a walkover, 5:0. You advance, and the demoted bot gets replaced by a newly generated crappy bot like all of them in C. That way you'll purge all leagues of bots in a couple of seasons.

TO IMPROVE NEW PLAYER RETENTION AND INCREASE HUMAN INTERACTION FOR NEWBIES: Compress all teams in C into fewer leagues. If you have 32 instead of 64 leagues you double the number of human teams in each. But we discussed it in detail in the past and it is never gonna get done.

i think what they are implementing will help more in the long-term. i do think after each season all bots should be set to 0 points and moved to c with more humans being moved up to b. their new system will work, though.

more active leagues will equal more teams staying. i almost left because i promoted into a b-league with only 2 or 3 active teams and i was getting beaten by bot teams that had been there for a while. that was way more annoying than if my sponsor money went down a little bit.

i did some climbing =P i got out of B and A into the ML in 1st try 2 consecutive seasons and got 4 2nds and a 1st in ML my first 5 seasons there.

"i" did get out of C in one season easy recently- proof is in all my friends winning their C leagues this season, and they do it with guys all 21yo or younger. my buddy Manner Prz FC [72578] had the worst team ive ever seen to start out and he just clinched winning against the other top guy. all you need is a fromo tactic and 1 forward about 3xsolid

and really, all these guys needed to do was compress the existing C leagues back to C32 next season.

Then auto demote all bots position regardless in B leagues, replacing them with the best remaining C league teams.

how long until the two teams just added to my league are gone? one has already been banned creating a walkover in B league, and the other hasn't logged in since he was awarded his team 4 days ago....

do we think we'll be "retaining them"?

in two weeks my sponsorship money has gone down from 125k to 100k... if not for a recent big sale i'd be hurting, since i lose money like everyone else, i'd planned on losing a certain amount every week and this is accelerating everything... and of the two teams accepted to my league, one has already been banned and the other STILL hasn't logged in since he got his team 10 days ago... this is working REAL well... its going to make the gap between B and A HUGE... might as well call it C+... and i'm stuck with the guy that doesn't show up because he replaced a GOOD bot who had a great record... so he is sure to stay up through next season, without doing anything, laming up my league... same with the banned guy, so i get to do ALL this again next season... F! this, its retarded and its really starting to crap on my sokker experience...
