2) The odds of getting two red cards are quite remote. One red card? Not the end of the world if you understand the game well enough to know how to properly handle it via positional subsitution.

3) j23's situation I have no sympathy for. You say he has only one competitor. Well guess what, he lost. Twice. There are actually three competitive teams in that C league. Just bad luck for him. Boo hoo. I had a difficult competitor in my C league - Manhattan Might FC. I beat him. I promoted first. Then he promoted.

Today? We're both in A leagues, and ironically I think we both had the same record in our leagues.


I do agree the C league structure needs to be reverted to 32 teams. It never should have gone to 64.

maybe he bought players to improve his record...maybe he had injuries to key players while playing against you. maybe you sold off best players after playing him.

and just maybe he was a better manager for the season, knowing tha GD might be a deciding factor he played at a higher level for the 14 matches.
Then again, maybe he was just lucky. Either was, you both had access to the rules.

We finished both with 37 points and I won our duel, yet he is 1st??? It makes much more sense in situations like this that score in your duel be the tiebreaker, and not GD.

prefer points and GD be tiebreaker personally, and my iq is above 54.

If i have 2 injuries one game and lose by a fluke to someone and tied the other time, but yet i did much better against other opponents i could really have a significantly better team.

But if you did so much better against the other opponents, how comes that you have same number of points, and not more? Plus we're talking about 2 games, not one. If you can't beat someone in 2 games, it's hardly a fluke.

he tied you once and lost once, stuff happens over the course of a long season. How come you couldn't beat him twice?
