Then buy plus, if you think it's an advantage. It's not like it costs $400/year or anything.

Its not as bad as TM where you have an in game advantage when you purchase there pro.
2009-02-02 03:59:21
well personally i dont have a problem with the advantages of plus at all, and i dont need/want it. Just wanted to say, you can't deny it's an advantage....

I don't know, kysupercats was top of the USA leagues without Plus.

amen

The only thing I use plus for is to be able to talk in my association forum and to keep track of my players training...

and you can't use sokker organizer or sokker manager or even sokker viewer?
2009-02-02 08:18:37
i mostly use plus to view other team's games. very handy.
2009-02-02 08:19:59
im too lazy...

I think if you use the correct downloadable free tools that users have made, you can find all the answers that plus gives users, removing the disadvantage. I may be mistaken, but I dont think so. You still wont be able to view other peoples games, but I really dont think that is essential. Or at least, only in certain playing styles is this essential. Essentially this game is just a how to run a business simulation... I dont know why I wanted to throw that random statement out.

I disagree with your premise that you dn't have the same chance.
2009-02-02 21:08:58
agreed. the impact of "scouting" your opponent is really over-rated.
2009-02-02 21:44:47
Heh what was that one loudmouth who sweared by scouting, saying he could completely decide outcomes of games by scouting peoples tactics. I think that was hogwash.
2009-02-02 22:05:54
there are a hand full of detailed things you can look for and do with scouting that help a lot from game to game, and i love it when i score as a direct consequence of a smart tactical tweak

imo scouting can be slightly useful, but most people with plus dont even have the ability to do it well. getting the fundamentals right is far more important before you can even think about your opponents tactic

"agreed. the impact of "scouting" your opponent is really over-rated. "

I strongly disagree. If your opponent plays exactly the same tactics as in the previous game you can position your players both defensively and offensively to your advantage. It becomes really important if your opponent is quite stronger than you and plays with good tactics.

The same strategy with minor tweaks can yield a completely different result.
