Subject: Training Keepers?

So I just broke my club transfer record purchasing a 17 yo keeper from Finland. Do I just toss him in and play him hoping for general pops? I'm currently wrapping up pace training and starting a season of defense training. Or do I train Keeper actually for a few weeks?

Help!

Umm, why did you buy a 17 year old keeper at all if you are training defender? You'd have been better off buying an old guy who was better.

He is better than my old guy that I got with the team... I had some extra money to spend after getting my lineup set and my trainees ready if thats what you mean.

First time I've been in B League, so I got an excess of money. Added a like 2500 seats to my stadium, bought 3-4 trainees, got a keeper to replace my aging one.

since hes not getting trained, seems silly to pay for age and possible talent, better off getting a 26yo+ keeper with some experience

Still,

if you're not training a decent 17yo, you should sell him. At the right time, 16:00 to 21:00 sokker time, a GK trainer might bid high for him.

hehe, just saw the transfer fee:) not a costly mistake at least

less than 25K on that guy for sure:

Jeronimas Malvicas, age: 25
club: FC Vedarai, country: Lietuva
value: 203 750 $, wage: 2 275 $
very good form, adequate tactical discipline

excellent stamina very good keeper
average pace hopeless defender
unsatisfactory technique poor playmaker
very good passing unsatisfactory striker

not sure if im understanding u right but, i dont think Malvicas will go for less than 25k,

Exactly, I've only purchased $1 players usually. He's the first I spent real money on.

Now, what I just want to know is will he get some random training based on my assistant coaches? I think I have one who has brilliant in Keeper..

you do get general/random training. i've had both my keepers bump one time over the last few seasons. it's just not often...maybe once every season and a half or two seasons.
