Subject: ADVERTISE SOKKER

I posted on Hattrick's non-HT USA conference.

Please feel free to talk about sokker in that thread!!

Throughout my career here, I advertised sokker on ; Americas Army, Counter Strike, Hockeyarena(there was a thred, so upped it), PowerPlay Manager, Footstar, Power Soccer(islander played it), Netsoccer, and some forums here and there. Never did in HT, just think its too boring and only played about 4 days of it.

gotta advertise, this size of usa here is pitiful.

ht GM-empee just closed it.

guess advertising isn't allowed any more on HT.

Haha, thats why they have so many users, they disallow other games to be introduced to the users. So they just play HT, if they realized that sokker is way better and has more fun activities and items to do and such, they would be here. You can PM people though ;d, and probably get banned.

Yes Sir. Played, didnt like it after the 2.8 updates. I was a beast :p Bridge Crossing and Urban Assult all day!

Back to topic. ADVERTISE Sokker there !!!! Many europeans play it, they love football(soccer) . Do It !

True, but any users would be nice. Many USA play also, just say "football" they'll think its American, and join. Then they get hooked :p

or like ive always said and done, get your real life friends to play, people will stick around if you can chat about the game and explain it in person. or even better round everyone up, get a lot of beer, and watch all the matches on sunday. ive got about 10 buddies who are active users in this game, we would double if everyone found one real life friend to play

and dont give me the "they dont like soccer" arguement, they dont need to.. this is just a fun game. most of you dont even watch soccer or even know what offsides really is

but i dont have any RL friends =[

You can always HT-mail directly the teams in your divisions in HT.... :)

To clarify, folks, discussion of other games is fine on HT, but advertising is not.

So if you want to discuss sokker, please follow the rules and just have a discussion.

Personally i think i'll start a thread on what i like about the different manager games.

HT benefit is clearly the large size and community, minus is that the engine is pretty trivial compared to the others.
Footstar is where you're the player itself and they have an OK display of the matches (sponsor only however), minus is that you have to own a team to have any tactics

Sokkers benefits are pretty clear.
