Hello people!!!

We are arranging the U21 America's Cup this season.

This is a non-official (friendly) tournament which has been played before in 2 opportunities (with the seniors teams) and the actual champion is Chile (the first one was Argentina). This tournament is arranged to integrate and compare the National Teams (and now U21 teams) of the whole America.

The methodology is thought like this: (but it is not fixed because we don't know how many countries will say yes to this invitation, actually there is another idea, the important here is that we are working on this stuff and we have time)

3 groups of 6 teams. The first one and the second one of each group go to the second round.

Another idea is this one: (The difference is the number of teams classified to the next round in this case there are 16 teams so we could)

Again, this is a friendly tournament, we should have your confirmation before this Wednesday because there are several tournaments at the same time and the weeks are running.

For the U21 i think as long there's not coach, it all depend on who will be elected.

for the NT, barndog will let you know about it.

this is not a good time for NT.

It should be for the U21 because this season, there is no official games.

this needs to wait for the elections, since neither your own NT coach or ours has been determined.....

the NT is part of the community, it is not the second team of someone else.

If the people want to, the coach has to.

but whatever...

Considering that in any case you will leave few weeks Free at the end of the season, i don't think 1 or 2 week delay will be a problem.

So the new coach will have time to scout as well and get confortable with the system.....

I think it could be a great idea.

Sorry, I am having some issues with people around the continent and I won't arrange this season the American Cup.

I wish Someone else could do it for me.

i think we would have 12 or 16 teams, that is 3 or 4 groups with 4 teams per group.

In the first case, the 1st one and the 2nd one go to the next round (6 teams) and the best two 3rd ones of each group.

In the second case, the 1st one and the 2nd one go to the next round

Did you just say you will not organize it???


what about doing a 6 games Group?? You just need to add 3 more games and still have planty of room:

Group match 4
Group match 5
Group match 6

so every team play each other twice.

I have problems with people in other countries, but no1 wants to be in charge of this cup at the moment, that's why I'm still here

about you suggestion, there is a problem with that. Some low-level countries want to play with same level teams, so they want this free weeks to manage their ranking position.

Your last Option looks good to me. So whoever coach is going to be has time to decide and scout for players!!
