Is an outstanding juniors coach good enough to produce some talent? so far i haven't got much return, and potentially the best guys are about 20-30 weeks away. i'm paying him around 18k, and i could probably afford to go a little higher, maybe 22k-25k. any suggestions? oh and i have 10 spaces.

If you can go to 22-25k, you could probably find an incredible coach, MAYBE even a brilliant one, but he will probably be hard to find.

I currently have a 21k outstanding coach for my team, and I have a few 4 week poppers in my YS. It also depends on your current coach now.

i have an incredible coach with salary of $24k and i am quite happy with him.

currently i have two juniors that at least once popped after three weeks so their talent is below 4 and have another three who popped every four weeks regularly..

the more talented ones have quite low level and will leave the school as crappy players but THE MOST important thing for me as far as junior school is concerned is fishing out talent...

i would definitely upgrade from an outstanding coach to an incredible one or even brilliant if you can afford it..

coaches dont produce talent

it's easier to find talent with a better coach and the junior will leave the school as a better player.

i mean if a player pops after three weeks (which is more probable with a better coach) then you already know he is quite talented.

the same player will not pop after three weeks under worse coach and you will not really know (or at least it will take a loooong time to find out) whether he is talented (closer to 4 weeks under the current coach or closer to 4.5 or higher)

the real talent i guess is defined as weeks to pop under the maximum coach level (unearthly i guess)

you know what i mean. skilled junior pulls with some good talent. oh after 4 coaching skill select tries none were successful.... as if i want to pay 37k for an incredible coach. or the same 18k oustanding coach i have now.

37k for an incredible coach?

hey i have some players to sell, are you interested?

:)

funny krepa. stand in line.

my assistant levels are 19k incredible, 23k incredible, and a 12k outstanding.

i haven't found a cheaper outstanding coach, hence my hesitation to let him go...

12k outstanding???? where did you find him? that's what i ALMOST pay for one of my excellent assistants (just kidding) but i wish i had 19k incredible and 12k outstanding... (i do overpay my assistants)

just sayin coaches dont improve talent

everybody spends too much on staff and stadium anyways

well i have a 30k incred

i agree that quite often people overpay for the coaches

the most important one is the main coach (as good as possible:)) and then the junior coach (in my opinion at least incredible)

it's important to have three assistants and they have to be affordable. it's better to have 3 excellent assistants than one incredible and it is also much cheaper...

it's also better (and cheaper) to have one outstanding and two formidable than two outstanding and one excellent. what i mean is the worst assistants should be only one level lower than the best one unless one changes the main coach..

yup. ive always skimped on assistants and not gone crazy on stadium til a lot later than most

proof is in my profit/loss transfer amount.. -7M with 2M in the bank. it doesnt mean i suck at making money, it means every penny i earn from transfers or surplus of weekly expenses i reinvest in players

with the stadium one does not have to go crazy in the size of it but ones the benches are kinda full it's good (and not so expensive) to transform them to seats..

i was stupid enough though to build total of 10,000 benches behind the goal and now i am screwed :(

I follow the two level rule. If I'm going to improve something, players or coaches, I improve by two levels. The transaction costs and such aren't worth it to only improve by 1 level.
