Why does a player on the TL who has a 'transfer topic' listing FAIL to appear so I can bid on him?

When I try to bid on a player who has a Transfer Link, I can't get to his page with bidding box.

page with the bidding box is just the player screen
anyone who becomes transfer listed is removed from the transfer ads onto the actual transfer list. if they had a topic at the time of TL the topic stays on the player screen but cant be found in ads anymore
search for him in the actual TL and he will be there, or find the player on the owners roster, search his name in search, etc..

OK .. let me try to explain it again.
Player is on TL.
When I clicked on his name, it gave me his player page with skills, etc, but, where the 'bid box' would normally appear is the message "Transfer listing" .. NO BOX.
Today, the box appears.
Strange.

When I first clicked on his name, he WAS listed as ON THE TL.

if the player ends at 28.02.2009 17:53, he was listed at 26.02.2009 17:53, about 50 minutes after u asked the question

If know body had bid on the player the owner may have removed him from the TL.

Well, I'll have you know that I was teaching programming before most of you were born.
I have no idea what happens .. but I get everything about the player that shows when he is listed on the TL ... and it says he IS listed ... but NO bid box.
Period.
I thought it might mean that the SK engine determined that I didn't have enough $$$$$$$$ to bid on the guy, but I see others with HUGE prices that DO show up.
That particular player now shows up normally ... can't tell you why he didn't before, even though everything that would be shown IS shown.
