Subject: I am minus 1.4 million every season.

Hi. I am minus 1.4 million every season based on salaries and other expenses... I am leaving out the amount i MAKE through junior school though. Is this exceptable in B league? I survive it by selling off members of my B team, or old members of my A team. The 1.4 is the total amount, even after ticket sales and sponsers.. still losing 1.4... I must be doing something wrong... Or is this par for the course and you just keep waiting to hit the youth squad 'jackpot' ... Which is what I am assuming.
1.4M is a lot, but i was always in operating debt through a-league (probably still am).
Only way to make money on sokker is through a training program. Note it's not selling old members of A or thru junior pulls, it's thru a good training program.

I would like you to be more specific when you say training program. You mean training your players correctly to have good resale value? Why must you guys talk in riddles to fellow USA members. :)
I train 10 defs def, pace till brilliant, def till outstanding, then tech to excellent and hope PM and passing and striking come along the way.

i mean training correct aged players and efficiently training them (10 ppl per week if you're training mids, etc). not training mutants (ie unearthly PM and no passing).
Sounds like you're doing that, although i question if you can train pace well if you only have def trainees (what about the loss of value to the pace training to mids and forwards if they're older?).
What happens when your best 5 hit outst-bril or so in defending, do you continue to train till they're all brilliant (whcih means you're training the best well higher)?

What your saying is very true but I am having trouble comprehending what to do at this point... Are you suggesting something like every 3rd season I have to switch up what I train to try to even out my players? I thought that the players in the other positions are inevitably a lost cause, meaning they wont get good training, ever. Ugh or are you saying that I should have been putting my A team mids and forwards in my friendly matches? I don't know what I do when my defs hit outs-bril in pace and defending... This is the first time I got to this level lol.
you need to rotate your training. When you start to get your best players to as high as you want them to go (based on looking at other skills. for example don't go past outstanding with def if the pace is average or pm is tragic, etc), start looking to shift to something else the group needs training in...
When the a-team trainees hit 23 years old, sell them towards the end of that season when they've recently popped in whatever you were training them in.
Don't double-play anyone if you can avoid it - just play crap in the friendlies.

Amen to that!
Amen to that!
wait what do you mean by double-playing someone?? is that playing someone in a league match and a friendly?
I tend to make a bi-weekly profit (excluding transfers). how much are you paying in coaches salaries? I am spending about 65K on coaches and 55K on players salaries.
plus I dont keep any juniors unless they have <5week talent
over that past tw0 seasons I have increase my bank account by about 2MIL, including transfers.

125k - that is what i was spending last season but now is spend 85k.
last year coaches salaries were killing me so i lowered the level of my assistants.
now i have a great main coach (4unearthly, 1 magical and 1 brilliant excluding stamina and keeping) and three excellent assistants. my junior school coach is incredible.

I'm probably in the top 5 in the US for coach's salaries with 203K. That's 1 Brilliant, 3 Magicals, and 1 Unearthly coach. I don't know if it's smart, but I've been able to get by for over 1.5 seasons now.
