SLAMBOT [del] to All
so we all know players dont end right at the time specified, usually within a minute after depending on when the last bid was

but just now without a prior bidwar i just tried to bid on a player 10 seconds before his supposed TL expiration and the bid had already ended.... thats BS. they must take into account when he was listed to the exact second but only post a rounded up minute on the expiration. frustrating

Maybe your computer clock isn't synchronized with the SK clock?

Why do you wait til there is only 10 seconds left?

STUNNING DISCOVERY:

i opened up another sokker window, and the time was in fact about 10 seconds ahead of the one i was using. then i opened up a third and it was the same as the second

i had the original open for about 5 hours, perhaps a delay in the clock occurs when mail updates happen. i will investigate this further

I think you are right. Sometimes when you stay logged in for too long the sokker clock that you see and the "real" sokker clock get desynchronised

Bidding 10 seconds before the bidding ends just irritates me to the point where I'll outbid the person out of principle.

One of the things I was thinking about... you can change your team name for only $50k. I wonder if you could change your team name to the same name as the team you were bidding against, with a space at the end, making them think they won the bidding.
