again, tanking a season in the ML involves too much financial sacrifice. im pretty sure im getting around 80-100k per week more than vondo from sponsors, and a difference if 15 supporters
2009-11-12 19:03:06
who said anything about tanking? Man Utd manage to play 2 big competitions at once with a big squad
2009-11-12 19:19:59
I notice that you didn't say spurs play in two big competitions at once . . . why is that Gaz?
2009-11-12 20:37:40
cos we've never played in the champions league
2009-11-12 21:28:46
does man united have to set 5 alternate players as mid for 90 minutes in order to recieve full training in a week? real life examples have no relevance to how training and income works in this game

i dont really understand your logic. If a real league was set up midweek by the developers as a champions league you would have the same problem. Either you care more about training or you care more about the fact you may become bored winning the USA league all the time. How exactly would your super-league work then? Just you go there and don't compete in the USA league anymore so you can still play trainees in friendlies?

my first choice: add an additional league separate from friendlies and country matches one can qualify into. it would be free of any training implications, gate receipts, or mood swings as to not give the teams any advantage or disadvantage for making it into the league - no strings attached.

this no-strings-attached style match can be found in buzzerbeater, a plus option to gain an extra match in the week for pure enjoyment so friends can play one anothers first squads without any worry of injury or training loss

"Just you go there and don't compete in the USA league anymore so you can still play trainees in friendlies?" thats another option i wouldnt mind much

making the matches official would also put it more in the public eye which is a huge plus

Just setting up your excuses early, eh? You know I'm COMING FOR YOU!
2009-11-16 03:08:13
yea But I think that making it more difficult for you would give a better chance for everyone else.

the idea of an extra game without any consequences and just for pure fun was discussed among some the NOLA sokker members in the past. i still think it would be great to have it (as you are saying it could be for plus holders only). the champions league could be part of it as well. if i was one of the game creators i would go for it but i am not :(

It's funny I get to play Trogdor, as we were in the same division for a while during my Hattrick days. I hope the result will be different now:).
