Interesting group of picks. Last one sucks but if you got some pops before he turns 17.. I think they all fit under the category of "maybes" for different reasons. The first guy could do well as a keeper, and the 2nd two are maybe until proven talent. edit- after looking at the goalkeeper more, he is the dud.

whoever it was paid way too much for a keeper that old with his passing and pm skills. might make a decent short-term backstop for C-league B-team...but that's it.
the second guy, depending on talent, could turn into a semi-decent lower league striker.
like all 16yo, the third guy is complete question mark. if he has any talent, he could become something. but it's really just a crap shoot.

$30k is way too much for a good keeper with outstanding pace who is still able to pop?
i disagree
this keeper would be great in a C league and to have a $30k guy who can increase your chance of winning the league for $30k is a steal.
when selling him later he would never go for less than $30k as is (and could go for much more if side popped keeping for example:))

the 16 year old maybe sucks but he is ... 16 year old
he could be sold again for 10 or 100 times more next week. you never know with them (and he has one soild parameter)

i would sell the 16 year old as soon as possible. i doubt you have the coaches to really use the fact that he is 16 yo and if you get lucky you can make profit out of him
every dollar counts in a C league :)
every dollar counts in a C league :)
i would say the problem with the young keeper is that he is 22 y.o. i would rather have an 18 yo with solid keeper and really low pace thats trainable. good keeper won't go very far, and since he's 22, he'll take longer to pop secondary pop in keeper.
for training purpose i would prefer an 18 yo with solid keeping also but a player like that would be expensive unless his pace is really bad. in this case the 22 yo would be a better player for a C league team..
also the option with slow 18yo keeper forces you to train pace sort of and what is someone does not really want to train it? :)
$30k was a good deal for that keeper

More importantly then keeping the keeper or not, is to shut down your junior training until you get into b league. Im telling you I kept mine open with 30 juniors with a medium level youth coach and it was a complete waste of energy, time, and money. I know many will say what I am saying is controversial... But I disagree on account of a DECENT youth coach is probably around 28k weekly wage... PLUS having 10 to 30 slots open a week means 38k-58k weekly... No one in c league should be taking that risk for the slim tiny chance lottery ticket. I didnt get one decent youth in c league... takes too long to pop with a decent youth coach. For that 58k you could get yourself a much better player, one a week, then what you currently have, off the transfer list.

yeah, i definitely disagree with you on that one... an excellent or formidable coach for 10-14k plus 10 - 14 spots for a total of 25-30k a week is all you need in c league and you will get youths who are useful to a c league coach. i pulled several players while in c league who turned out to be very profitable in the end. a very good or excellent player with mediocre distribution can be very very useful to a c league manager who doesn't have the same profitable trainee sales as an established manager.
