what deteremines the money you get from sponsors every week? how come mine seems to go up and down even though i am winning my matches...?
Friendly matches appear to have a small effect on sponsor mood. I've had friendly matches push me from one sponsor mood level to another before. That may be it. The other thing to consider is if new teams have been joining your league... that will also change your sponsor income.
so if supporter's mood does not make a difference what determines sponsor income...?
mine just dropped another 3k even though i won the league matcha and im the leader in my league..

Sponsor income is influenced by league, friendly results, the amount of goals scored and goals conceded.
edit.
I also see that your league got a new human team, that will also change the income from your sponsor, mostly in a negative way.

crap....at this rate i will never get out of debt...
so how does it work? is it a "pool" of money that is distrubuted to the teams in a league? is that why there is an adverse effect to the sponsorship income when a human team joins?

keep your team playing well. At the end of the season, you get a big bonus. It is largely based upon if you won your last league game or not, promoted(auto or by winning qualifier), sponsor mood.
I think I ended up with nearly $300k when I won my league and promoted.
New teams in your league also lower their ranking at first, but after they have a few games under their belt, the $$$ starts to rise up again.

In the long run, everyone runs a biweekly deficit, I think. You just have to count on end-of-season bonuses and trainee sales to even everything out.

Never heard about this and I've been around a while.
All new teams run at a deficit, training and selling young players is how you stay afloat and end of season bonus is a big help. The money increases as you promote, that's the biggest influence. It keeps increasing if you keep your supporters mood happy by winning games.

sponsorship money is does have some base in league strength. so if a new human team comes in and replaces a strong bot team, it will negatively impact your sponsorship income. its very dramatic in the B leagues, though not as bad in the c leagues.

Check the above link and you'll see the effect a new team has on sponsorship money.
Although we're not sure as we don't hold the formula, it appears sponsorship money is affected by team ranking points. Every time a newbie comes in, its low ranking points affects the league prestige and everyone else sponsorship money takes a hit in that league.

Really it has been talked about many times, and I believe guac even confirmed it a few times.
new teams would decrease the ranking points of them whenyou play them. therefore that'd ding your sponsors as they don't care about beating a useless team.
I fully agree that any good manager BETTER be running at a weekly deficit in c-league or B-league. Or you're really NOT doing a good job of managing and having a training plan.
It's all about the training :)
