Well, I guess my next question is how does the USA community feel about a foreign manager ad NT coach?!

I'm personally interested for next season, and have a great club & NT record.

Not gonna happen. We are pompous americans! The only thing we know for sure is that our next coach will be american!
2009-06-14 02:50:49
Don't bet on that.

we already have Mr G. few seasons ago, the time might be ripe again. It all depend if Fromo will run again for the postion.....or not.

i'd vote for you.

If Phil did go for your role then I think the English will need compensation as he has done a brilliant job in his time here. Most don't want him to quit his role here, but he won't listen to the sensible ones. :/

I do love the idea of a new challenge & bringing success to the USA NT is certainly a challenge that I could imagine taking on.

As for the chances of being voted in, I would hope that my record at NT & club level would convince enough people that there isn't a better man for the job, regardless of nationality.

ur just angry i scored 10 goals against u last game

How will you overcome the language barrier?

I will spend the next two months on an intensive course to learn American.

First step is learning to spell words such as favourite & colour wrong!

bahahaha
2009-06-14 23:57:39
haha..i'd like to see that happen again! i have a new forward.. we'll be 10-10 on the next game haha

I just like to see more interest on the NT from the NT coach.. I know you half ass it... you're good at tactics but I'd go with phil from seeing his achievements in England.

it's not as much that we only vote for americans. We've never had a non-american other than gibby (who won here) with any semblence of ability run.

We don't generally take the foreign candidates seriously as they generally have poor experience and capability and think just because they're in a bigger country they're better than our best managers despite the fact that they're mediocre performers.

also, i generally prefer to vote for a non-american if he's been active on sokker usa etc.

Ie Vilpu would get my vote over you, Phil, because you've both been successful but he's bothered to participate in the USA forums. :)

i wouldn't mind letting fromo try again tho if he wanted to both quali and wc seasons again.

Phil's alright I suppose. ;)
