Hi all,

I would like to become the NT manager of the USA, and I think I could do a great job. As long as you are willing to vote for a dirty foreigner I would be the perfect choice, and I'm certainly better than Gibbage!

I'm the current premiership champions in England, and also won the title last season. My side isn't much better than any of the opposition on paper, but they consistently win due to my very solid tactics.

I have been the NT manager of England for the previous four seasons. In that time England reached the Semi-Final of the world cup twice. Unfortunately we lost to Italy & Poland, names you will probably recognise as the previous two NT winners! Those were our only two competitive losses, we won every-single other game, so quite an exceptional record.

Currently England are ranked 5th in the world, quite an achievement given our relative lack of users & star players.

On paper I feel England are weaker than the USA. So, I therefore feel that I could take USA even further than I managed with England. I would expect to be top 10 in the world as a minimum, and hopefully get to the final of the next world cup.

Feel free to ask any questions, I will do my best to answer them all.

People will accuse you of just being a poorer version of myself, any comments?

mr_gibbage has also won significantly more domestic trophies than you, yet you've got to two and effectively given up with a rebuild, any thoughts on this?

I can't be troubled by going to the England forum and looking for myself, so what type of info(pre-game and post-game) do you routinely post on the forums about the National Team?

It only took two titles to see that I needed a re-build to avoid the tedium of winning without any real challenge.

Those who feel you are running for the USA NT job purely because I did!

It depends on how important the game is.

In general I'm pretty busy at work during the week & just do a short introduction to the games. I chat a bit more after matches if there is any interest from the community.

As USA coach I'm sure I could step this up a bit, I'm selling up with my club team going to concentrate on training for a season or two, so will have more time left for the NT.

It was expected people here won`t like you. Your American is a big issue and they have problems understanding your posts. Another reason why you won`t get elected is that mr_smugage already humiliated English managers, when he was the head coach.

I see no chances for you.

Its a tin-pot trophy, didn't want to win it anyway!

But seriously now - Phil is probably the best choice there is.

I know I'm doomed to fail.

However, this thread will certainly help me to learn American, any chance to practice is appreciated.
