I won't tell anyone. Besides, as I am tactically inept AND in A league, Fro, I'm not sure how you can conclude I am your competition.

you know what phil, i was just browsing through the other candidates for the USA NT position and in my humble opinion, there are 25 votes as of now and i'm certain that you have at least 65% of them.

So, i'm interested in hearing your thoughts on how you plan to take USA to the dizzy-ing heights that you think we can reach. How far in the WC do you think you can take us? What is your pre-and post match plan to keep the people of US and A informed?

In all honesty all you need to do is check Sokker England to see that, he is very good at communicating with us, and will be with you.

Hes a great tactician and only just lost 2-1 to Poland in the semi's, we will be worse off for him leaving thats for sure. If he was rubbish I'd certainly tell you, his worst trait is that he knows hes good and bangs his head a lot on the way out of the door. ;)

I have always been spying on you folks through your various newbie and regular forums. I have to say though that you guys have the best help for newbies!- That Robnob chap helped me alot when i started, through his newbie guide.

But i'd like to hear from Phil himself, cause he's probably going to be our NT coach.

What can I say, I'm just the best manager around ;-)

I feel that the USA should be getting to around the final four in the world cup with me in charge, after that its down to a little luck.

I base that on my experience with England where I have developed very solid tactics that give us more than a chance of beating any side in the world. In my four seasons as England coach we won every single competitive game except our two semi-final defeats to Italy & Poland, so I clearly have the results to back up my words!

England are certainly no better than USA on paper, I mean take our best striker for example, I'm sure you have better ;-)
