Might have to vote elsewhere, it takes a fair while to analyse matches in detail.

General points are that you appear to be defending too deep with your defence. It leaves large gaps between your players, often this causes defenders to miss passes to more advanced players. An additional point is that it encourages pressure.

You can use a deep defence, but you must have a high defensive line when the ball enters your half. You don't want to be sitting so deep that strikers can pick up the ball within shooting range with space.

Your opponent played a narrow defence. Attacking with a high & wide winger would have been a good idea, by not attacking the wings you allowed your opponent to get away with using only three defenders. As a result he could use an extra player upfront.

Setting up your tactic to counter your opponent is the best idea. The more you can do that, the better your results will be.

Also, if you are going to play a back four, do that. Don't try & mix two formations!!

Your back four should have stayed flat. By moving your centre back into midfield you leave gaps along the centre of your back line, this can create one-on-one opportunities for your opponent (as your defender is the wrong side his striker).

Are you a 1 and done deal?

Does it depend on how much or lack or success you have?
2009-08-25 22:50:47
I will see how I feel after a couple of seasons.

Really can't be sure either way right now. It will all depend on how well I feel its going, and of course if you guys still want me as manager.

No certainty either way to be honest, if I go anywhere it would most likely be only back to England, no real other options for me.
