Subject: supporter mood
What is the summary, then? Why do friendlies make even a bit of difference?
Playing devil's advocate... It seems that until this change was implemented it was easier to gain fans than to lose them, i.e. on the average all teams were gaining even if their performance stagnated. Maybe they decided to impose some sort of a soft cap on the number of fans (similar to what seems to be happening with the sponsor money). Maybe those of you that played longer went way ahead of the new soft cap and need to be brought down. That would explain why you are treated so harshly :-)
For the record: I have not lost any fans yet, despite sometimes mediocre performance...

I won 7-0 over the 2nd place team from last season.
"2 supporters left the supporters` club."

There is no surprise.
You lost the qualifing match and made a draw in last three league games before that.
So what do you expect?

Hrm. Not a bad point, I suppose. We'll see what happens if I win my Cup match (no guarantee - playing odd players) and my next league match.
i think theyre trying to adjust it so satisfied is the average mood, and soft capping supporter amounts for different league levels, whereas before there wasnt a real limit. im guessing people losing 20 a week will most likely even out soon enough
im not against the idea of this change, but i am against the way it was implemented: many teams built their teams economy based on how the budget used to be, and without warning or good explanation people are being blindsided, such as a large stadium that they cant fill anymore
in buzzerbeater (basketball game i play), the weekly budget was mainly based on large stadium sales, but theyre changing it so less people show up to games, but sponsor money is going to increase. everyone was warned almost a full season in advance, and teams with huge stadiums have the option to break their stadium down as much as they want for a full refund. it is much more fair and up front with that game, and i wish something like that was done here too

I've never really complained about it because I figure it is the same for everyone.
I would like to know what Greg's thoughts behind the changes are. The rational of the whole thing, like jon said, a brief summary would do.

I probably didn`t explain myself well before. What I want to say that Greg is very good at explaining why your mood is what it is. He has different stats and gadgets which come handy there. Ok, gotta go now...Season 5 of Lost will start in a minute - haven`t seen previous season though:)

If Greg is so good at explaining ..... Let us see the explanation.
Yeah, I'm wondering why he doesn't just copy and paste or summarize the explanation.
hmm. haven't weighed in on this in a while. but, yeah. this was very badly implemented and never explained so the users of sokker understood what is going on. ben started this wondering if he was supposed to guess how to get out of the issue. that's a pretty fair summary of how a lot of us feel. we have no clue what does affect this, or how. therefore, we can do nothing to make things better. is there going to be a new "bottom" to supporter mood? how is it measured? why can't we have something to tell us where we stand on the new scale? the existing scale does not give that information.
if you haven't followed it, there is a 30 page discussion of this issue going on in Bugs/Ideas over in International. apparently it hasn't been explained to anyone. and a lot of people seem to be getting fed up with the game.

12 supporters bought subscription cards this week.
Woot!!!!
Woot!!!!
Let's see. Won again. 1st place. Beat former ML team. Still in Cup. Gained two supporters, whose mood remains "satisfied."
My supporters haven't been very impressed with my start to the season!
They want it all.
I would have thought they would have enjoyed all the goals.
