I mean should I stop playing friendlies?? last two weeks I've eaten injuries to my team that knock a player out for 4 weeks... GAHHH

!!! At least this time the guy was a trainee and not one of my starting 11..

You can set up a training tactic for friendlies that puts essential (read: trainees) players in the corners. If they're not making any plays on the ball, they're a lot less likely to get injured.

That is MY idea. I have a tactic I've been using for years called Run and Hide.

I've suffered numerous injuries to trainees cause of them playing in meaningless friendlies. So i always use my "training" tactic each and every friendly game. The only downside i've seen thus far is that my keepers tend to get injured cause they are trying to save a bajillion shots on goal.

Does the dent in supporter mood offset the risk of a trainee injury?

honestly my supporter mood has never gone below level 4 and i've generally gained more fans than i have lost. mostly because i try to get friendlies with stronger teams, so if they kick my ass it wont hurt the mood as bad as it would if i had played a weaker team, ranking wise. i think during the entire last 2 seasons, i've only ever lost supporters 4 times at the maximum.

Maybe thats cause i have a relatively new team... who knows

I'm just going to go ahead and quit playing my first teamers now. Everytime I make a transfer for a new first teamer... I try to toss him in the friendly so as to raise his teamwork... Everytime that new player ends up with an injury...

So aggravating.

Lost two starters. One for 11 days, one for 15. Both only played to get training, since I forgot to change my lineup for the last league match.

the last three seasons in a row i've lost my best striker for more than 20 days twice a season... and it just happened again.
