Subject: NT vs Romania

We are moving into a new season full of hope and ambition. The world cup approaches and this is an ideal time to get a little more experience against the top sides in the world. First up is Romania a team with a massive user base, great players and realistic world cup ambitions. Their place within the top ten in the world is no mistake.

I will be experimenting a little with tactics in an attempt to come up with something new and a little different for the later stages of the world cup. Need to test out tactics in friendlies before I risk them when it really matters!

The match kicks off later today.

Managed a 5-0 win today & totally dominated, best win of my tenure so far!!

Well, Romania didn`t use their best line-up, that´s the reason of huge win. Nevertheless it looks good before the World Cup. I am sure you will do very well.

I used players out of form and a test tactic which give you a good chance and you didn't waste it.

Nice job. Off topic a bit, but The US keeper pulled a 96 mark. That's as high as I've seen, but I don't really pay that much attention. That's pretty impressive I think.

I know its just a friendly, but just a little bit of community interaction would be nice. It helps match threads become a little more interesting, I'm sure most of you guys within the USA community would rather read a discussion than my internal thought monologue with the odd comment from Vilpu ;-)

The USA keeper is pretty decent, and is still young.

I think the whole holiday season has a lot of people away from their computers right now. But once the WC comes there should be some more interaction... Hopefully.

I'm not convinced its due to the holiday season, it just seams to be a general trend so far. However, on the plus point, most matches have been largely meaningless especially as we cruised through our qualification group with no problems at all.

Hopefully the upcoming season and later stages of the world cup will provide more of a spark. Regular matches against the best teams in the world is really what interests me in NT management. Games against lesser opponents are no fun in comparison.

Sokker forums in USA are mostly interesting when jonandabby babbles on it seems. :)
