I would like to start off with an apology for not starting this thread before the first game. Busy with the holiday. I did manage to do a little scouting and made some minor tweaks for the match.
vs Ukraine
anybody watch the match?
This was a match up of what I would call the 3rd and 4th seeds of the group, and a must win game for us if we want to advance. And win we did, we were quite unfortunate to only walk away with a 1-0 win. We could of just as easily scored 4 or 5 goals.
Next week Philippines who won in a mild upset over Honduras. This should be an easy win, we really need to score some goals here.

I watched the match last night. yes, we could have easily scored a couple more goals. the winger did not seem to be getting the ball centered as effective as the last couple of games.

It initially looks like we are a similar strength side to the Swiss, do you think that we will be able to beat them to second place within the group?
Any new tactical plans to try to secure a qualification spot?

To be fair the winger, isn't really a winger...he can block shots =P
Based on week 1 results, yes I do think we can compete for 2nd place.
With a weaker opponent next week expect something more offensive.
