Subject: NT vs Turkey

Our next WC match sees us face Turkey.

They look to be a very decent team and it could be a close match. Hopefully we will perform like I know we can, tactics are in place and injuries are not too bad so its now just up to the match engine!!

The Turkish fans seem to have this crazy idea that they will be able win the match on Saturday!!

You shouldn't say things like that.........you are good but you never know what may happen. Look at what a sending off can do from Sundays game for example. ;)

You make a good point, only problem is that I would rather quit the job then pick anyone from your squad of kiddies & foreigners.

Its written in the stars, USA will win this game and by plenty of goals ;-)

Either that or we will lose....or draw, definitely one of those options.

Having looked I expect you to win against Turkey, their coach seems a little clueless with regards to form and stuff like that....

i'll point out that the foreign NT manager is picking on jonandabby for fielding a team of foreigners.

We managed a 3-0 win today, it was a very comfortable win.

The whole idea of our tactic was to take advantage of Turkey's high defensive line, and back five. Between their 3 central defenders and wing-back there was a gap which is where I placed my strikers. It resulted in many one-on-one chances for the USA as we broke through their defensive line.

We missed two penalties and countless one-on-one chances, could have scored even more with luck.

I'd be happy to train US NT players. Problem is, I never pull any NT trainable mids from my YS, and everyone in the US trains theirs. Cruz is still training, but you won't play him. Weasel foreigner. Go eat some chips.

you had your shot at Cedric. Now he's getting trained by some Polish guy. And I must admit he's been doing well I think. I've been periodically checking on his player value and it keeps increasing while his form never rises above weak.
