agreed. formations are have little resemblance to what one would see on most any premier league...
strikers should 95% of the time get onsides when defenders are playing close to midfield.

How about adjusting our strikers in our tactics to make sure that they are not offside against opponents who play a high defensive line?

the strikers was the least of my concerns. The seemingly mindless play of our defenders is another matter.

And did you see the winger run right past a ball on its way out of bounds? wtf

the defenders did not seem to know where to kick the ball. I thought that the game engine was suppose to be corrected for such passes???
yes, the defenders were very, well to be nice, iffy

yes, its as if they refuse to make the safe pass to a midfielder.

I admittedly dont watch a lot of football, but I find it hard to believe defenders in general play anything like they do here.

dagwood- I dont see much use of our winger deployed as he is. maybe if he were 5 yards towards the middle of the field. as it is now, almost every time a defender attempts to pass to him, the ball goes out of bounds.
