k, so whats the deal with juniors? im sure there is a post about it..
how are we suppose to recognize talent?

kinda bummed bc junior training was a huge part of satifaction in this sim

i feel your pain. I used to look forward to thursday mornings cause of the training pops and the junior pops and fridays i actually used to care about the new juniors that i get, but now i actually dont care anymore about juniors, i just take a look at the age and go on with my day. I hve about 7 juniors that i know their talent before that they changed the system and the rest i couldnt be bothered.

It might sound negative but to me the new system is faulty. Also whats the deal with the having the distinction between outfielders and GK's if the distiction is not even accurate?? There's been 2 players that were GK's that came out as outfielders???

I tried to discuss/argue the faults with the new system in the bugs section and I got a "quit your whinning" response.

It seems that the people that are for the new system think knowing the juniors age heavily outways being able to figure out the juniors talent level.

I think these people are morons, but that's another topic. They can't see the big picture with how it will affect buying/selling players on the transfer market, not to mention still not knowing the players exact talent. To be honest I'm sick of trying to spell it out for them.

Save the $30 for the Plus renewal and buy a crystal ball.

Wait for SV 0.14 There will be an ability to figure out the juniors level talent, but wont be exact like was with the old engine.

Exactly, why give $30 when you can better PLUS features with SV for free.

Just look at the arguements about it in the bugs/ideas forum. I was arguing.

i like the changes, i just think higher level coaches should be better at estimating.

I've got an unearthly YS coach. They keep jumping around on me too.

how? Just compare first versus last ranking and divide by # weeks between first and last pop?

How about something that tells us what age that will come out at?

I know how to figure it, but I shouldn't have too.

i think it should compare first to highest skill ranking. Sometimes i had drop in the last week of junior training

my new juniors won't even load.

I don't get how anyone could like these changes.
Nor will I be renewing Plus when it expires - no benefit to it.
And I really don't know why people are so excited about knowing the age. Sure it's nice so you can get rid of those older trainees, but if everyone is doing that, where's the advantage?
It's a total crap shoot now.
