scouting matches is pretty much the only thing you can't do with 3rd party software. For example, tracking talent can be done with sokker organiser or something. In this sense it is the reason to get plus in my opinion

Also, people will probably make their juniors more "talented" than they actually are.
i.e. they'll train a skill for a few weeks and pawn off their talent as the number of weeks it takes to pop a level. I've seen trainees of mine that have talents of 3.5 and 4.5 take the same amount of weeks to pop from good to solid. Now someone could pawn their player off as a better talent based on crap like this.

I hate the new junior change and that's just my opinion. Almost thinking that i'll close the school once all my "known talent" juniors graduate. There's no point in arguing about this cause it aint gonna change, so i'll just resort to bitching about it!

I closed mine friday night otherwise I would have run into bankruptcy. I'll probably reopen my YS at the start of next season though. Just need to cut some costs quickly so I don't have to sell players.

i'm considering closing mine as well. at this point i've only had a couple really awesome juniors come out...but the main thing i liked about them was knowing their talent and their trainability. nowadays that's basically gone out the window... and while age and "position" is nice...there's really no benefit.

based on pure economics, it makes no sense for me to wait for crap shoot players to come around. at the moment i have a brilliant head coach and 17 spots. based on how cheap your coach is, this can be seen as roughly 45-50k a week. over a season this is roughly 650k wasted. if you're telling me you can make 650k a season on selling your ys players....then it'd be worth it.

also, junior matches are super boring and i don't even watch them.

i think we should bring back the old system... all this system does is flood the market with 16-17 year olds with shitty talent.

Dude, I miss the old junior system!!!! I can not seem to get a grasp on the new system....

dont forget, with Plus you also have the &%#% feature of having Plus terminated with out any message being sent, and after you again pay it takes a couple of days to be re-instated.
(actually, I buy Plus because I enjoy the game, and dont mind paying for something that I enjoy)
2010-01-26 16:57:10
i don't have to worry about that feature.

i dont mind the concept of play time for a coach to get a grasp on how talented someone is. what i do mind is the fact that with one match a week, and me usually carrying 25-30 jrs in my squad at a time, there isnt enough play time a week to go around
2010-01-26 18:55:13
are you actually watching junior games?

2010-01-26 19:00:00
haha yeah, its fun. i been watching to see whos good at defending/pm/passing/shooting and adjusting every week.
