Subject: Sokker gods got me good..

So somehow, I managed to piss off the Sokker gods and my Three starting midfielders are all out for this week's game.

1 by sending off yesterday
1 by injury yesterday(who will actually miss 2 games after this week as well..)
and 1 by receiving a Yellow while already working on 2 yellows from previous matches..

Granted the situation seems simple if you have the cash, but due to my circumstances, I can muster only say $350k to bring in temporary cover. What a shame for my chance at having 2nd place/tied for 2nd place this season..

Second place means nothing anyways. Not much difference between 2nd and 4th.

Not to those who haven't been there before

Well, what matter is for you to get at least a point in your head to head duel with the 1st place team, cause right now both of us have the same number of points and he has better GD and I would prefer to autopromote.:)

Btw I was in a situation like you a few weeks ago and i bought a temporary replacement for 110k. He was good enough to fill my midfielder spot in 2 games against the 2np placed team, both wins. I'll sell him soon.

@ chasecad - I know it doesn't mean anything, but it does to someone who hasn't enjoyed enough success to even come close to a promotion to A league. But it tells me that I'm doing things the right way. Think of the little things.

@ disco, not too sure I'll be able to grab any points from him as the last match I had against him he blew me away. But he still has to play Cleveland Steamers(who by all rights should be in 1st place imo. Had 2 losses due to lineup bugs) in Week 14 which he tied against. But if he doesn't login soon, his team will go bot.

Yeah I see that his last log was more than a month ago, but he's still 1st.

Ya, I was just giving you a hard time. But let me tell you after a long time in B league it feels oh so good to be in A league. This is my first year up and its nice. I am sure you will have that feeling soon.
