Subject: NT vs Poland

Just the small matter of the WC final tomorrow.

I will do my best to win the WC with USA, I haven't yet decided on a tactic as I am perhaps over-thinking things a little bit. I think any tactic I use I will struggle to dominate the game, the best I can expect is to make the match even and then hope for a little luck....

You got this one Phil, dont over phil-losphize it. Just go with your instinct and you'll be alright..... No matter what happens you've done a brilliant job thus far...or maybe i should say, divine job.

Good luck with the tactics for tomorrow! Give us at least a virtual world cup championship =) Since we'll probably get knocked out the real WC in group stage.

Well that wasn't quite a win, but the game was definitely closer than the final result. Lots of red cards that they were able to take advantage of at the end. Good season phil.

I was gutted with that match, it felt totally unfair at times. The red-cards certainly didn't help that we picked up so many red-cards.

It was crazy the number of times they managed to tackle Smuckers from behind, I would have thought that should be impossle given his form and level of technique, but apparently not. I got my striker positioning a little off for crosses and that may have cost us some goals, we certainly had more than the 4 chances listed.

The first goal - a header from almost 25 yards was a little unrealistic too. :(

They got the free-kick after my brilliant defender central midfielder missed a tackle straight on against their central midfielder. I couldn't have possibly placed my midfielder any better and yet he still missed the tackle.

Don't even want to comment on the second goal, how is that even possible!?

Agreed. We had 3 or 4 breakaways alone that Madsen missed. And I just thought Smuckers sucked because he got tackled every time from behind.

While I'm on a moaning topic, the third goal was offside but wasn't given!

Hahaha. It was definitely offsides. I went back and watched it and he definitely was.

Hmmm I missed that, I had this happen before for me...I asked about it whether it was a bug and was told it was just a presentation thing. ;)
