Do I understand the training improvements to mean that if you train pace and list a position, say defenders, then the defender will receive the main focus of pace training and everyone else will receive training as well but not the maximum level (because they were not playing as a defender)?

I didnt think there was any changes to pace training

Also, with Thursday training, the graph will be marked if the player trained. If skill was not trained it will be marked gray on the graph. On passing or playmaking training for DEF formation (when DEF and MID get half training each), both DEF and MID will be marked as trained.

The text has been changed since the other day, but it seems meaning that now PASSING-DEF and PLAYMAKING-DEF train players with DEF and MID orders roughly 50% of a PASSING-MID or PLAYMAKING-MID setup.

on an unrelated topic to training, is it possible for a players talent to get better?
2010-03-31 22:50:04
no

It is possible to have a player seem to pop faster.

Ie: Joe Shmoo took 3 weeks to pop from average to adequate, and then took 2 weeks to pop from adequate to good.

What happens is, after the 2nd week Joe is super close to adequate. Then after the 3rd week he is almost a weeks worth of training above adequate, resulting in just needing 2 weeks to pop to good.
