Would be great if you guys could give me the chance to continue in my role as USA NT coach. Had a pretty decent run as manager so far and it would be great to get the chance to push on and actually win the world cup next time.

Vote Here

In case anyone didn't notice I also pushed on our ranking nicely, so next seasons qualification should be pretty simple:

I'm glad to see that you decided to continue. You have my vote.

Same here ... of course my non-vote for Nanook could prove a hindrance ...

You got my vote as well phil, and this time, you dont even have to answer my stupid "why did man utd buy michael slowen" :) question

do you not feel you have taken the team as far as you realistically can and therefore it might be better for someone else to be given a crack at it?
2010-03-30 09:40:47
Who can take the team further than the WC finals?
2010-03-30 11:05:49
that's precisely my point. I am not saying you have done badly, in fact, quite the opposite. I am saying you have done all that can be done with the team. I am more than happy to vote for you if you feel there is more that you can achieve.

Can't be certain, but I feel that I have a pretty decent chance of winning the WC with the USA. Can't promise any thing though, we will be out matched again in player strength.

I would be interested in other users opinions on to whether you would prefer to give an American manager a chance this time, its my only real concern in applying again.

Do you fear jonandabby's non non canditure?
2010-03-30 23:24:43
I'm freaking out ;-)

So your vote is gonna go to the candidate that says.."I will win the World Cup with this USA Squad."

Epic.

read what i wrote. That is not what i am saying at all. What I am saying (written in a 3rd alternative way) is that Phil seriously over achieved with this country. It will be seriously hard for him to do this again, and to go the final step even harder. Therefore I was asking if he thought this was still a challenge and therefore worth keeping the job another season. If he still thinks it's worth it I will vote for him. Ultimately I would like to see a manager from our leagues given a go if anyone is interested.

The least successful world cup I have had so far is the semi-final so I have a fair bit of pedigree. What keeps in NT football is the dream of finally winning the WC.
2010-03-31 22:45:57
Well it was 3rd time lucky making the final, winning it 3rd time lucky in the final? In which case the US need to dump you now. ;)

What do you think you can do differently that help you reach your dream?

Win in the final!
