I decided to run for manager of the NT. I've done it before and although I'm not the most successful NT manager, I did start some things to promote training USA players.
I'll be glad to be your NT Manager. I'm ready for your questions.

USA deserves more than 1 good option as manager. It's a win/win situation for me because I would not mind losing this election to Phil.
I do bring a different perspective as a manager as far as tactics and player rotation and I'd like a shot at managing the NT. I can't promise to surpass Phil, no other manager as taken the team that far, but I'll give it my best shot every week.

Do you think the success of the National team has a significant effect on the interest of the team?
You have been largely absent from the board the since you were last nats coach. Is there something that has changed recently that makes you think you will be more active?

Success VS Interest:
Success combined with Good Public relations is the best possible outcome. Phil has proven himself as far as success and I can do better as far as PR. If both of us could be coach it would be the best possible outcome.

Imo it´s complete nonsense that candidates can`t ask questions in each others threads. Just wondering who came up with that brilliant idea.
9 times out of 10 the candidates degrade to horrible fighting.
My position: I have yet to prove myself tactically at that level and Phil has taken our NT to the finals. I'm not at all implying that I can bring better results than Phil. I ran for two main reasons:
1) USA deserves more than 1 good choice for NT Coach.
2) I want a balance between tactics/winning and Public Relations effort.
Efforts to raise interest in our NT ensure that our USA managers will continue to train World Class trainees sometimes pass their optimum training age. This is how we'll finally win the World Cup.
